This is Umoja Generation’s (501c3) branch dedicated to shedding light on the atrocities in The Democratic Republic of Congo through a documentary. Our documentary will explore the devastating conflict in the Eastern Republic of Congo, which has claimed over 3 million lives. Through interviews with UN officials, Congolese government representatives, refugees and survivors, we aim to show the affects on human lives and the urgent need for solutions.

The documentary has 3 goals.

1. Raise awareness.
2. Advocate for justice.
3. Raise funds for humanitarian purposes.

We’re hoping to raise $61,600. Any extra funds will be used for humanitarian aid upon visiting to film.
